E-scooters give me that sinking feeling

I’VE just read your article about the e-scooters being extended in Nottingham until 2024 (“Scooter trial set to run for another year”, Post, December 1).

I came across one in the River Leen yesterday (pictured below). I don’t think the GPS works under water.

It’s obvious to me that the fines system is not working.

There is no respect for these machines being dumped all over the place. People who are partly sighted are really at risk.
