A PAIR OF NEW PLACES IN THE SUN
Beach bliss beckons next year on two new sunshine routes from Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic.
The carrier, founded by Sir Richard Branson in 1984, will begin flying to Indian Ocean paradise the Maldives three-times weekly in October, then in November, the tranquil Caribbean islands of Turks & Caicos will be added twice weekly.
Both destinations will be served by state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft and flight prices will be announced at a later date, with package getaways also available at Virgin Atlantic Holidays (virgin atlantic.com, virginholidays.co.uk).
Also new from Heathrow in 2023 is the new British Airways route to Cincinnati, Ohio.
