Pets looking for a home

-

Trevor

TREVOR is a lurcher cross who is one year old. Staff at the Radcliffe Animal Centre say Trevor is “so lovely” and just “a baby in a big body”.

Trevor has been at the centre around 60 days, and is still looking for his forever family. He has been described as having an “excitable nature” with a cheeky personality. Trevor is very affectionate and would make a fantastic member of a family, and although he gets on great with other dogs his playing might bit a bit too boisterous for smaller dogs.

Trevor requires a supportive home, and has become more sociable and confident since being at the centre. He enjoys his walks and absolutely loves to play.

Bella

BELLA is a four-month-old cross Belgian Shepherd. She is looking for an experienced dog owner, as she is described as having

“high energy levels” and needs lots of mental stimulation so she can become a wellbehaved adult dog.

Bella needs training in all areas, and she would also benefit from having her mental energy channelled in a positive manner, such as agility, trick training or even fly ball. A member of staff said: “Bella gets easily bored and will need someone at home most of the time, including her adult life to cater for her demanding personality.” However, in the right home Bella will make “a fantastic member” of the family.

Jasmin

JASMIN is a one-year-old lurcher who has been described as “a very loveable girl”. She enjoys her walks and meeting other dogs, although she has no recall and should be kept on a lead. Jasmin can be a little bit shy at first, but soon warms up to people and adores company. She needs training in all areas, including house training, so Jasmin needs a family who are happy to put the time in so that she can flourish. Her ideal home will not have any cats, but Jasmin can live with other dogs and also gets on with children of secondary school age.

Cinnabun

CINNABUN is an eight-month old cross breed and staff at the centre believe because of his personality and colouring his dad could have been a wild rabbit. Cinnabun enjoys treats, especially carrots. The best home for Cinnabun would be one with no cats or dogs, and older children. However, he will need time and space to settle in, so a “calm” and “slow” approach is important.
