MG celebrates centenary with opening of Evans Halshaw MG Grantham dealership

Since 1924, MG has been making cars people love to drive. From the classic Tc Midget to the MGB roadster, many timeless beauties have been produced at MG.
now in its 100th year, the manufacturer is set to celebrate its centenary with the opening of a brand new evans Halshaw store in Grantham.
Opening on Friday, March 1, evans Halshaw MG Grantham will be the first franchise within the business offering the full range of MG cars, including the new MG4 ev which was crowned ‘Small electric car of the Year’ in January 2024.

The British style of MG can still be seen today in its stunning ev and concept models, from the London eye headlights all the way through to the european interior styling.
its futuristic roadster, the MG cyberster, is a two-seater electric sports car, which recalls MG’S classic roadster legacy, while also ushering in new high-tech features, including an interactive gaming cockpit and 5G connectivity. it has an ev range of about 800km and goes from 0-100km/h in less than three seconds.
“MG is renowned for its motorsport DNA that is still sealed to the designs of contemporary vehicles, such as the classic MGB to the notable cyberster,” added Alex Kohn.
“We are delighted that our store will operate as a cyberster retailer, comprising a cyberster lounge. The site also will be an authorised repairer for MG.”
evans Halshaw MG Grantham will offer test drives on the MG4 electric, which scored maximum points in the energy efficiency index and Greenhouse index when reviewed for its Green ncap rating earlier this year. With an average score of 95%, the all-electric hatchback achieved a five-star rating by the industry-leading european emissions assessment programme.
The MG dealership will replace the existing evans Halshaw Ford store but will remain an evans Halshaw Ford authorised repair site, so existing customers still have a local place to service their Ford cars and commercial vehicles.
Sales and Motability customers will be offered the opportunity to stay with Ford and will be directed to continue their journey with their nearest evans Halshaw Ford sites in Lincoln and Bedford.
