After the inspection on January 23, inspectors said: “Pupils at Sneinton have a mature confidence in themselves.

“They take their leadership roles very seriously and with great responsibility.”

The school was also praised for having “a rich and vibrant RE curriculum” and because “everyone

is known and celebrated as a child of God”.

Head teacher Mark Lowe said: “This inspection report recognises what a special community we have at Sneinton St Stephen’s. It is a privilege to be part of such a dedicated and talented staff team, where all value their contribution to our children and their families.

“We have such a wonderful, diverse community, where we all deeply care for, and champion each other. It was heartwarming that this report recognises that our children are thriving and are confident leaders with hope and aspiration for the future.”

The report says: “There is a real awareness of people of faith encompassed by God’s love as you enter Sneinton St. Stephen’s. Togetherness and encouraging others to be the best they can be is at the heart of all relationships. This community is served unconditionally with Christian compassion and care.”

The inspectors noted that the school prioritises digital technology, and that each pupil is provided with their own electronic device.

At the time of the inspection, there were 240 pupils at the school, part of the Transform Trust.

Kelly Lee, the trust’s partnership director was delighted with the inspection.

“I’m incredibly proud of the many achievements of the Sneinton school community. This is a fantastic report and one that truly captures the deep-rooted relationships and distinctive culture shared among the children and adults. The children have been able to share their learning and are advocates of change with partners globally.”
