PLAYER RATINGS
MATZ SELS:
Made a big save right at the death which looked like it would earn the Reds a point. Forest had done so well in keeping the visitors at bay. Rating: 7/10
NECO WILLIAMS:
Another good display from the Welshman, this time against his former club. Has found a terrific level of consistency of late. Rating: 7.5/10
ANDREW OMOBAMIDELE:
Repaid the head coach’s faith for recalling him to the starting 11. A colossus at the back as he made some terrific blocks. Deserved something from the game. Rating: 8/10
MURILLO:
Partnership with Omobamidele was rock-solid. Both put their bodies on the line to keep the visitors at bay for so long. A kick in the gut that the afternoon ended in defeat. Rating: 8/10
HARRY TOFFOLO:
Created some good openings with his crosses, including setting up Elanga in the second half. Back line had defended well all afternoon until the final seconds. Rating: 7/10
RYAN YATES:
Worked non-stop as he put a real shift in and got stuck into the visitors. Did a lot of the dirty work, even though that meant conceding a few free-kicks. Rating: 7/10
NICOLAS DOMINGUEZ:
Ran his socks off all afternoon and played some neat passes. A concern to see him being helped off the pitch after picking up a knock. Rating: 7.5/10
DIVOCK ORIGI:
Has come into his own in recent games and has the potential to make a big contribution in the run-in. Played well down the right and was a whisker away from getting on the scoresheet. Rating: 7.5/10
MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE:
Not necessarily at his influential best but kept plugging away, even when things were not going for him. Saw a second half effort blocked. Rating: 6.5/10
CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI:
Had some positive moments as the Reds caused problems on the counter-attack. They just couldn’t find that last little bit to score a goal – and it proved costly. Rating: 6.5/10
ANTHONY ELANGA:
Was left to rue a couple of big missed chances. Two golden opportunities for the attacker to add to his goal tally for the campaign. Rating: 6/10
