PLAYER RATINGS

-

MATZ SELS:

An argument to be made that he ought to have dealt with the ball in for Brighton & Hove Albion’s goal. Did make a few decent saves otherwise, though. Rating: 5.5/10

NECO WILLIAMS:

Challenge on the Welshman in the second half was a big moment. Jakub Moder could certainly count himself lucky not to be sent off – it looked a horrible lunge. Rating: 6/10

ANDREW OMOBAMIDELE:

Has generally done well whenever he has played but didn’t have the best opening 45 minutes at the Amex – an early booking and an own goal. Better after the break. Rating: 5/10

MURILLO:

Tried to take matters into his own hands when he fired a free-kick goalwards in the second half. Rating: 6/10

HARRY TOFFOLO:

Didn’t get anywhere near enough opportunities to put crosses in. Was kept on his toes defensively, too. Rating: 5.5/10

RYAN YATES:

No shortage of effort but midfield balance just wasn’t there before the break. Forest were flat and could not keep hold of the ball. Rating: 5/10

DANILO:

Better at the start of the second half just before being brought off. Had been guilty of giving the ball away prior to that – not that he was the only one culpable among the visitors. Rating: 5.5/10

DIVOCK ORIGI:

Finishing let him down as he had moments where he looked bright. Rating: 5.5/10

MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE:

Played a couple of lovely passes to set up Origi. Couldn’t quite get his set-piece delivery right. Rating: 6/10

NICOLAS DOMINGUEZ:

Early booking left the midfielder having to tread carefully. Rating: 5/10

CHRIS WOOD:

A boost for the Reds to have the forward back from injury and fit enough to start. Aside from a chance with 20 minutes to go, though, didn’t get a great deal of service. Rating: 5.5/10
