PLAYER RATINGS

-

MATZ SELS:

Distribution was good from the goalkeeper. Made some decent stops in the first half but set-pieces continue to prove a huge Achilles’ heel for the Reds. Rating: 6.5/10

NECO WILLIAMS:

Continues to improve week by week and is becoming such a key player for the Reds. Great work for Chris Wood’s goal and a terrific last-ditch clearance in the first half. Rating: 8/10

WILLY BOLY:

The 33-year-old’s height and physical presence were useful as he returned to the starting 11. Forest’s defending at set-pieces is severely costing them, though. Rating: 7/10

MURILLO:

Would have been a certain goal of the season contender had his outrageous second-half effort not been thwarted by the goalkeeper. Was generally solid. Rating: 7/10

HARRY TOFFOLO:

Steady enough at left-back, albeit with some testing moments. Switch to playing as a wing-back didn’t work in his favour, though. Rating: 6/10

RYAN YATES:

Midfield took time to get a grip on the game as Luton dominated the early stages. Scrapped away and wasn’t far off a last-minute winner. Rating: 6/10

IBRAHIM SANGARE:

Took a while to get going on his first start for the club since Boxing Day. Looked off the pace early on. Got better as the game went on, even if he did lose possession a few times. Rating: 6/10

DIVOCK ORIGI:

Had some really bright moments down the rightand got into some good positions, just couldn’t make the most of them. Two decent chances in the first half. Rating: 6/10

MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE:

Exquisite pass for Wood’s goal after nice link-up play. Should have got on the scoresheet himself but couldn’t find the finish. Yet again the Reds were left to rue missed chances. Rating: 6.5/10

ANTHONY ELANGA:

Guilty of giving the ball away a few times, especially early on when Forest were under the cosh. Not as effective on the left as he has been on the right. Rating: 6/10

CHRIS WOOD:

Terrific finish to make it 10 goals for the season. A bit worrying that he seemed to pick up a knock as the Reds are going to need him to step up in the run-in. Rating: 7/10
