PLAYER RATINGS

-

MATZ SELS

Made a couple of really good saves to keep his team in with a chance of getting a result. Sloppy defending in front of him let the visitors down, though. Final scoreline a little harsh on the keeper. 7.5/10

NECO WILLIAMS

Lovely link-up with Elanga for Wood’s goal. Defensively, though, Spurs got a fair bit of joy down that flank as Timo Werner proved tricky to handle. 5.5/10

ANDREW OMOBAMIDELE

Defending remains an area in need of a bit of work. Back line as a unit didn’t give Sels great deal of protection. 5.5/10

MURILLO

Unfortunate with the own goal. Even more so it came immediately after an outrageous attempt from inside his own half which wasn’t far away. 5.5/10

OLA AINA

Some good moments going forward in first half once the visitors settled down. Forest afforded Spurs too much time and space for the goals, though. 6/10

RYAN YATES

Limited in what he could do after a few fouls early on resulted in a 14th minute yellow card. A jab on him from James Maddison a talking point – might it have warranted a red card? 5.5/10

DANILO

Midfield balance wasn’t there to the same extent as on Tuesday against Fulham. The Brazilian tried to get involved but it was hard going, especially after the break. 5.5/10

ANTHONY ELANGA

Set up Wood for the equaliser with a nice bit of play. Such moments more of a rarity in the second half once Spurs put the game to bed. 6.5/10

MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE

A bit of a concern the attacker immediately applied an ice pack to his leg after being substituted. Hadn’t been able to stamp influence on the match as he did against Fulham. 6/10

CALLUM HUDSON-ODOI

Decision-making at the top end of pitch wasn’t quite there when Reds needed it to be. Some promising moments but final ball was lacking. 5.5/10

CHRIS WOOD

The front man cannot stop scoring. A lovely finish to make it four goals in four games. Was agonisingly close to getting another, and then it could have been a different game. 6.5/10

SUBSTITUTES

IBRAHIM SANGARE (YATES 81)

Was difficult for the midfielder to get in the game so late on 6/10

NICO DOMINGUEZ (GIBBS-WHITE 68) Added a bit of energy. 6/10

GIO REYNA (DANILO 81)

Bright enough when he came on. 6/10

DIVOCK ORIGI (WOOD 68)

Couldn’t really make a difference 5.5/10

GONZALO MONTIEL (WILLIAMS 87)

Not long enough to have an impact. 6/10
