Oh. My. Bod.

TV presenter Konnie Huq, 43, shares her top-to-toe health secrets

Now (UK) - - COME ON IN... -

Hey, Konnie! What’s your favourite way to keep fit?

I love going to David Lloyd’s PRAMA class – it’s a perfect family day out and great for the kids. Think music, lights, and a disco workout!

What motivates you to stay in shape?

I’ve got a quick metabolism so I never look too big, but I can still fluctuate and can look gaunt if I’m not healthy. Working in the media makes it feel like you’re perpetually in your twenties, but I’m in my forties now so it’s important to look after myself.

Do you have a favourite and least favourite body part?

I hate my legs, man! They’re so bowed. But I’m happy with my hair, my eyebrows and my nose.

Are there foods you always avoid?

Fennel – it’s so gross! And I’m not a fan of raw onions, either.

Tell us your guilty food pleasure…

My husband (TV’S Charlie Brooker) and I are sugar addicts. I love a bit of chocolate and get so angry when it’s not on a dessert menu!

Did you make any changes to your diet after having kids?

I stopped putting salt in our food and now my palate has adjusted.

What’s your tipple of choice?

I’m teetotal. I never know what to bring to a dinner party – is a bottle of vodka not appropriate?

When do you feel most body confident?

Jogging bottoms and a hoodie hide a multitude of sins! I feel best when comfy.
