ROCHELLE HUMES TURNS 30 IN STYLE
STARS GATHER AS ROCHELLE HUMES HITS ‘DIRTY THIRTY’
You only turn 30 once, and Rochelle Humes certainly made the most of her milestone birthday as she enjoyed a star-studded party at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire. Her husband Marvin, 34, and their daughters Alaia-mai, five, and Valentina, two, joined her at the members-only retreat along with a slew of celebrity friends for the weekend-long bash.
It was something of a mini Girls Aloud reunion with Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Tweedy joining in the fun. The stars wrapped their arms around each other as they posed for snaps, which showed Kimberley and Nicola in bright red ensembles, while Cheryl – who had just celebrated her son Bear’s second birthday – looked stylish in her gold patterned leggings.
Other partygoers included Emma Willis, Phillip Schofield and Rochelle’s former The Saturdays bandmates Mollie King, Frankie Bridge and Una Healy with partner David Breen.
Guests were treated to a bottle of bubbly and monogrammed ‘RH 30’ grey onesies on arrival. Rochelle’s Ninja Warriors co-host Ben Shephard later wrote on Instagram: ‘I can’t tell you how soft and cosy they are. Rochelle, I dreamt of you.’
On Saturday morning, guests could indulge at a breakfast van, cycle around the 400-acre grounds on duck egg blue bicycles or play football, while pre-party drinks included cocktails served with ‘RH 30’ stirrers.
For the evening’s festivities, the birthday girl changed into a gorgeous gold Nadine Merabi fringed mini dress, accessorising with a ‘Dirty Thirty’ crystal hair clip from Tilly Thomas Lux.
She was presented with an exquisite floral cake and serenaded by both Alesha Dixon and Gary Barlow, who sang Happy Birthday to the delighted star. Rochelle later commented on social media:
‘Oh Mr Barlow you absolutely made my night/year/life... #luckygirl’.
The Voice host Emma Willis also joined Gary on stage for a duet of Never Forget. Sharing a clip online, Keith Lemon quipped: ‘Hey @Emmawillis if you can’t remember last night this is what happened!’
Having partied until the early hours, the group rounded off the weekend with a huge Sunday roast buffet. Bloody Marys were served at the cocktail bar and tired guests were entertained by a trio of musicians.
Wearing a pretty Isabel Marant Etoile mini dress, Rochelle was still wearing her Dirty Thirty hair clip.
Summing up the weekend, Rochelle said: ‘I couldn’t ever have dreamed that my 30th would go down like it did. I’m SO lucky and SO blessed to have the friends and family that I do.’
And a loved-up Marvin sweetly took to Instagram to share a gushing tribute for his wife, writing: ‘You continue to amaze me every single day and you deserve the absolute very best.’
