ARIANA: ‘MAC DIDN’T DESERVE THE DEMONS HE HAD’

Singer ARIANA GRANDE (right) has opened up about the loss of her former boyfriend MAC MILLER, admitting that she turned to drink to cope with her grief.

The rapper, real name Malcolm Mccormick (right), died aged 26 in his home following an accidental overdose. At the time, Ariana was no longer dating him but the tragedy hit her hard.

Recalling the time after his death, she told Vogue : ‘If I’m completely honest, I

don’t remember those months of my life because I was (a) so drunk and (b) so sad.’ She also spoke about her difficult decision to tour, despite her grief and PTSD: ‘It’s hard to sing songs that are about wounds that are so fresh.’

Describing her grief as ‘pretty allconsuming’, the 26-yearold singer added: ‘By no means was what we had perfect, [but] he was the best person ever, and he didn’t deserve the demons he had.’
