‘GAME OF THRONES’ ACTRESS SOPHIE TURNER AND SINGER JOE JONAS JET OFF TO THE MALDIVES BEFORE HEADING TO ITALY
They had two weddings, in Las Vegas and France, so it makes sense that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas enjoyed two honeymoons, too! The lucky pair kicked off celebrations with an idyllic-looking break in the Maldives before heading back to Europe to continue their special holiday in Italy.
During their tropical getaway, Sophie, 23, and Joe, 29, shared a handful of snaps from their ‘magical’ stay at the Soneva Fushi resort. They hired a nine-bedroom private villa costing £22,000 a night for the ultimate in secluded luxury, which boats a private gym, spa and sauna. They relaxed in hammocks and played chess against the backdrop of the crystal clear Indian Ocean.
And their second honeymoon was just as luxurious, as they headed to Positano on Italy’s Amalfi coast. The loved-up newlyweds enjoyed a
boozy lunch on the Italian Riviera, washed down with plenty of Aperol Spritz cocktails. While Game Of Thrones star Sophie kept it casual in a white T-shirt and denim shorts, it was her new wedding ring that really caught the attention of onlookers. During the lunch, a clearly smitten Joe was snapped showering his new wife with attention, kissing her hands and her forehead.
After officially becoming Mr and Mrs Jonas in a ‘quickie’ Las Vegas wedding chapel ceremony in May, the couple said ‘I do’ again in a lavish celebration at Château de Tourreau in Sarrians in the south of France in June. Sophie wore a breathtaking Louis Vuitton gown and their adorable dog Porky Basquiat was the guest of honour.
