‘CORONATION STREET’ ACTRESS BROOKE VINCENT IS JOINED AT HER BABY SHOWER BY BOYFRIEND KEAN BRYAN AND HER FRIENDS
With just weeks to go until she becomes a mum, Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent celebrated her impending arrival with a star-studded baby shower brunch. Last week’s bash at Manchester’s Rosso restaurant brought together lots of Brooke’s former and current co-stars from the cobbles including Michelle Keegan, Catherine Tyldesley, Sally Dynevor, Jennie Mcalpine and Lucy Fallon. As 27-year-old Brooke doesn’t know the gender of the baby, the event had a rainbow theme with multicoloured balloons, a flower wall of white roses and a three-tier cake. Guests tucked into a delicious menu of avocado on toast and sausage and bacon sandwiches. The starry event also featured giant white lights spelling out ‘Baby B’, and Brooke asked guests to guess whether the baby would be a girl or a boy.
Newly engaged couple Ryan Thomas and Lucy Mecklenburgh made it a family occasion by bringing his ten-year-old daughter Scarlett, from his relationship with Tina O’brien, as well as Ryan’s brothers Scott and Adam and their mother Gail. Brooke was also joined by her co-star Lucy Fallon and her boyfriend Tom Leech as well as Catherine Tyldesley, who’s recently been revealed as one of the stars of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. Our Girl star Michelle Keegan, who looked stunning in a sheer pink skirt, attended the brunch with her cousin Katie Fearnehough.
During the day, Brooke and her boyfriend, Sheffield United footballer Kean Bryan, hit the dancefloor to the rather appropriate tune We Are Family. Taking to Instagram after the event, Brooke gushed: ‘Me, Kean and our families had the most perfect day. There’s a whole lot of people who have got a whole lot of love to bless our child with. The three of us are so lucky.’
