OUR COLUMNIST WELCOMES HOME HER ARMY BOYFRIEND, GETS GOOD NEWS FROM HER DOCTOR AND AGREES YOU CAN’T HELP WHO YOU FALL FOR

-

Being reunited with Scott after he had been out of the country for work was wonderful! I travelled down to his army barracks in Colchester on the night he landed and then we came back up to Manchester the following day. It was a nine-hour round trip for me, but every night matters when you don’t see each other that much – we don’t take each other for granted. Back home Teddy was so pleased to see Scott! It was so cute and I love this picture of the two of them [right].

I’ve been experiencing pain in my right breast and it’s been getting worse, so the kids nagged me to go and get it checked out, saying I usually go to the doctor’s for a broken fingernail! Having breast implants can make checking a bit trickier, so I like to go every couple of years.

I had a mammogram and

I’m pleased to say

everything’s fine. My implants are ten years old now and some people say you should get them replaced after a decade, but my specialist said mine are fine. If I was to have them done again, I think I’d go for the same size and shape, which reassures me that I made the right choice ten years ago. I wouldn’t want to have them out.

Many people have jumped to the defence of Love Island star Curtis Pritchard [below, with Maura Higgins] who refused to label himself ‘bisexual’ despite saying he wouldn’t rule out a relationship with a man in the future. I completely agree – why should he? Love is love.

I think we have too many labels these days. You can be someone who considers themselves to be a straight person and then fall in love with someone of the same sex. I’ve seen it before and it doesn’t mean they’re bisexual, they’ve just fallen in love.
