GIGI HADID, KATE MOSS AND KENDALL JENNER ARE AMONG THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE WHO STRUTTED THEIR STUFF AT THE FASHION CAPITALS
After hitting Fashion Week in New York, the style set took over London and Milan last week. Well-heeled celebs grappled with the cobbled Italian streets to take in Moschino’s Alice In Wonderland-themed show, where catwalk queens Gigi and Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber modelled some of the irreverent label’s latest wild and wacky creations.
Gigi stole the show in a quirky take on a wedding dress, complete with appliquéd doves and a statement cape, while Bella resembled a high fashion clown in harlequin sequins, and Kaia looked ready for the Mad Hatter’s tea party in a scribble-print green co-ord.
Fresh from her honeymoon with new hubby Caspar Jopling, newlywed Ellie Goulding hit the Alberta Ferretti show. The singer caught up with Lady Kitty Spencer on the front row, both opting for bold suits for the occasion. Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman looked friendly with US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour as they took in the Prada presentation alongside Alexa Chung wearing a pretty embroidered shirt.
Earlier in the week, Vogue’s glitzy party at Mayfair’s Annabel’s club wrapped up the
festivities in London, with Kate Moss looking effortlessly chic in a white satin minidress at the bash. Also showing some blonde ambition was former brunette Kendall Jenner. The model was the talk of the town with her California girl makeover, which set Twitter alight as fans rushed to praise her transformation.
Khloé Kardashian couldn’t resist comparing herself to her younger sister, responding to one gushing tweeter: ‘She’s so perfect either way !!!!!! I mean now she looks exactly like me,’ to which Kendall jokingly replied: ‘You wish, b***h.’
One of the hottest tickets of the week was Burberry’s first ever carbon-neutral show at London’s Troubadour Theatre. Attendee Lily James sported a sleek up-do and bold red lip, while Dua
Lipa accompanied her new boyfriend Anwar Hadid
– dressed in the label’s trademark checks – to support his sisters Gigi and Bella from the front row.
Later that day, the stars sipped Cîroc watermelon cocktails at the LOVE magazine and Youtube bash at the newly opened Standard Hotel. Rita Ora partied with Lottie Moss and Hana Cross, who did her best not to bump into her ex Brooklyn Beckham.
The pair had been spotted arguing earlier in the week, with a source revealing: ‘It was very tense. I could hear Brooklyn say: “It is what it is.” He walked off and she went back to her friends looking dejected.’ Hana was later spotted leaving the party five minutes after Brooklyn.
Naomi Campbell’s 14th Fashion For Relief fundraiser was another star-studded affair. The iconic supermodel sported several looks on the catwalk at the British Museum, including an incredible sequinned jumpsuit with feathered sleeves. Former Saturdays singers Mollie King and Vanessa White were reunited at the charity show, pulling out all the stops in floorlength gowns.
The following night, Bulgari hosted a glamorous launch party at Camden’s usually
gritty Roundhouse Studio. Ellie Goulding made a solo entrance in a corsetted Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood dress. The singer tweeted that she was ‘#feelinamillionbucks’ ahead of the event, where she performed. Abbey Clancy also got the thigh-high-split memo.
Elsewhere, Paloma Faith turned heads in a crochet jumpsuit at the Ashish show, and Maya Jama showed ex Stormzy what he’s missing in a green minidress at Christopher Kane’s collection. Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera performed a surprise gig at the Royal Opera House in aid of Virgin Voyages’ collaboration with Gareth Pugh – dressed, of course, in head-to-toe fire engine red.
