ED SHEERAN CHEERS WIFE CHERRY TO VICTORY
SINGER-SONGWRITER ED SHEERAN STANDS ON THE SIDELINES TO CHEER CHERRY TO VICTORY
Singer Ed Sheeran is usually the one being watched by hordes of fans. But last week he proudly took his place on the sidelines to watch his wife Cherry Seaborn play hockey. Things took a dramatic turn when Cherry, 27, fell over while representing The Harleston Magpies against Exeter’s Isca hockey club. But the injury didn’t stop her from completing the match, and once her bruised and bloody knees had been bandaged she returned to the pitch to help lead her team to a 1-0 win! ‘Even though Cherry was injured she could be seen smiling and laughing by the end. Cherry and Ed were having a laugh together as they headed home,’ said one onlooker.
The couple are rarely spotted together in public and usually shun glitzy events in favour of living a relatively low-key life. Even their Suffolk wedding, which took place just before Christmas last year, was a private ceremony, with no celebrity guests thought to be in attendance.
While Ed, 28, is an award-winning artist who is regularly setting world records with his charttopping tunes, he previously stated he will give it all up when he becomes a father, revealing: ‘My ambition is going to go to zero as soon as I have kids.’
