CURLY WURLY!

Pete has been sharing pictures of his curly hair [left] after admitting he used to be bullied for it as a kid. He’s told me that when he sees himself with curly hair, it reminds him of that time. It’s easy to underestimate, but bullying can have a profound effect when you’re older. It’s a big deal to him that he’s decided to show off his curls. I’m very proud of him. At home he only wears his hair curly so that’s how I’m used to seeing him, so I’m glad everyone is getting to see that. Plus he’s in his forties and has lovely thick, dark hair with hardly any greys – that’s something to be celebrated! I think I’ve got more greys than he has!
