When it comes to Mollie King’s style she rarely gets it wrong, so it was no surprise to see the 32 year old modelling for Littlewoods again. Here, the BBC Radio 1 presenter and former Saturdays singer talks about her favourite guest on her radio show, how she stays in shape over Christmas and her wardrobe staples…
Do you follow any style rules when it comes to choosing an outfit?
I tend not to wear more than three colours at once. I wouldn’t say it was a rule, more just my own preference and taste. I like things to always look clean and simple.
What three staples should every woman have in her wardrobe and why?
A racer back white vest. It’s so versatile and can be worn throughout the summer or layered up in the winter. A classic little black dress, you never know when your next night out might be, and something glitzy for Christmas. It’s always fun to get dressed up.
What is your go-to date night outfit?
My go-to date night look is something relatively classic and simple. I love wearing ankle boots with a little skirt and something oversized on top.
What are your top tips for party dressing?
Make sure that you always feel comfortable as well as stylish, you have to wear something that you can dance in!
Do you have a make-up look for the festive season or do you like to mix it up?
I love to mix it up a bit. I really enjoy experimenting with make-up. But I have to say, I do love a darker lip during winter, especially for nights out!
What’s your beauty regime? I try to look after my skin as much as I can. One of the big things is making sure I always take off my make-up!
Do you prefer dressing for spring/summer or autumn/winter?
I prefer dressing for autumn/ winter because of my love of layering. I love big coats and warm jackets.
How would you describe your winter style?
Layers, layers and more layers – but keep it fashion!
If you could give your younger self advice, what would it be?
Say yes to different opportunities. I’m quite an anxious person and I can really overthink things but when I’ve gone out of my comfort zone it’s always been worth it and has always been an experience I’ve learned from.

If you could have another celebrity’s wardrobe, whose would it be?
Victoria Beckham and Olivia Palermo. I love how chic and sophisticated Victoria always looks. I love how eclectic Olivia Palermo’s style is, you can never guess what she’s going to wear but it always looks classy.
Who’s been your favourite guest on your radio show?
Bryan Cranston – he fooled me into thinking he was the biggest Saturdays fan, but it turns out he was being fed all the information through an ear piece from a producer sitting outside. He was so much fun, and really up for a laugh!
With your busy schedule, how do you unwind and relax in your downtime?
I love to exercise and take my dog Alfie for a walk. I’ve also started listening to podcasts recently, and that has really helped me unwind and relax too.
How do you stay in shape over the Christmas period?
Over Christmas I don’t worry too much about fitness. It’s a time to indulge, so I like to put my feet up. I’ve recently started using the peloton bike, so I’m sure that will come in handy in January after a few weeks of turkey and Christmas pudding!
What are your favourite pieces in this collection?
I absolutely love the long gold sequinned dress, it’s perfect for fancy parties! It’s so flattering, too. Another favourite is the black blazer dress as it’s perfect to dress up or down. ok!
