SOPHIE’S REUNION WITH ROCHELLE
It’s not hard to tell that Sophie Piper is Rochelle Humes’ sister as the pair look almost identical. But while the girls are super close now, things haven’t always been this way.
Rochelle was left heartbroken when her father, Mark Piper, and paramedic mum Roz Wiseman split up when she was only three. Mark later had three children, Lili, 24, Jake, 23 and Sophie, 21, with a new partner. Rochelle admitted she knew of her siblings but they didn’t really grow up together. Then in 2018, former Love Island winner Kem Cetinay – who is close friends with Lili – convinced Rochelle to reach out. Lili and Rochelle arranged to go for dinner with Sophie and Jake and the former Saturdays star brought husband Marvin along to ease her nerves. She explained, “They all have each other. I’m the weird older sister they feel they know because they’ve seen me on TV.”
Happily, the meeting went incredibly well and the siblings have been inseparable ever since. Rochelle recently said, “It’s like we’ve known each other all our lives.”
