POLDARK’S BEACHES

The offshore twin-peaked Gull Rock and golden sands of Holywell Bay double as George Warleggan’s beach. Church Cove at Gunwalloe is where the gripping night shipwreck scenes were filmed, while the beaches at Porthcothan, Porthcurno and Kynance Cove all stand in for the fictional Nampara Cove. The cosy, two-bed Grandad’s Cottage near Kynance Cove is perfect if you wish to visit the coves, caves and striking rock formations of the Lizard Peninsula.
