Iposted a photo of myself working out in a sports bra on Instagram as I’ve been training hard in lockdown and was happy with the results. But people started commenting on a lump they spotted in my armpit and told me to get it checked out. I’d noticed the lump for a while and assumed it was nothing, but it had been playing on my mind and I knew I had to get it sorted.

I was lucky to get a doctor’s appointment straight away and went to a clinic for an ultrasound on the lump. Due to coronavirus, the staff were in full PPE and the doctors had masks on. Thankfully the results came back and the lump was nothing to worry about. They said the area could have been inflamed from working out, which makes sense!

But I am so grateful to everyone who reached out and urged me to get it looked at. It could have been something more serious, so thank goodness people online are looking out for each other.
