CHRISTINE’S LOCKDOWN WOES

-

Comedian Paddy Mcguinness’s wife is one of millions of people feeling thankful that lockdown restrictions are easing further this week. The 33-year-old has opened up about her struggles with the couple’s three children – who all have autism – during the pandemic. Christine said that her five-year-old daughter, Felicity, had developed a stutter. “The stutter came out the blue and was quite severe – it was every other word,” she explained. “We think it was all down to anxiety, the changes, and because she wasn’t socialising and seeing the other children at nursery.”

Christine went on to say that speech therapy sessions had helped Felicity, who has now got over the “little hurdle”.

The mum-of-three has previously talked about lockdown life with her kids, sharing that Felicity and twins Penelope and Leo, seven, that become more “physical” with her and describing the situation as “awful”.
