i want my kids To be recognised for who They are as people

-

Liam Payne has revealed he and his former girlfriend Cheryl Tweedy don’t share pictures of their four-year-old son Bear online because they want him to be “normal”.

I respect all parents’ choices whether they decide to put their children in the public eye or not, but I can definitely empathise with Liam and Cheryl’s decision as it’s the same as mine. Some of their reasons might be similar to mine, too.

For me, it’s about protecting the kids from any negativity, particularly on the internet. Once children are in the public eye they can be open to criticism, especially on their appearance. In the spotlight, you do get judged a lot on the way you look and I wouldn’t want that for my children. I want them to be judged on their talents and merits, rather than their appearance.
