ISO AND HONDA
Paul (no surname) writing from Birmingham sends me these two bikes he acquired from a very pleasant gentleman in the Midlands. Both bikes were under a tarpaulin in the chap’s garden. Both were in a pretty rough state but restorable, and a deal was done, Paul strapping them both to his single bike trailer. He is sure that I helped him recover both registration numbers.
One bike was an Iso Milano scooter, and the former owner told him that his late wife used to ride it to the shops every day but never held a driving licence. A definite no-no today! Both bikes were sold after the registrations were recovered. Were they ever restored? The 1974 Honda C72 was registered BWP 401B, while the Iso registration began 976.
