VELO MAC

Alan Spence wrote to me in February about a friend who’d had a Velocette MAC in his loft for 32 years. Before being stored there in many pieces, some restoration work had been done – mainly painting some of the components and frame, rechroming of the wheels and rebuilding them. Eventually Alan was invited to view the pile of bits, and as a result a deal was done and in March last year everything arrived in Alan’s garage. Registered ODH 244 in January 1951 to a resident in Walsall, the supplying dealer was The Motorcycle Mart, Walsall, and Alan, who has now rebuilt the bike, wonders if anyone has a dealer badge or decal. The bike joins a 1934 Velocette.
