TRIUMPH T20S
Harry Ward in Brough, East Yorkshire sends me this photograph of the Triumph T20S which he intends to restore to a similar standard to that of his BSA D10 Sports, which he rebuilt previously and which you see here (below). Both engine and frame numbers of the Triumph are matching, which is correct. The bike had previously lain in a shed since the late 1970s prior to Harry’s purchase, and he realises it will have to be restored and roadworthy before the
DVLA will issue an age-related number. The Triumph Owners Club will help with the provision of a dating certificate. The DVLA may also insist on a NOVA certificate, but HM Customs will normally issue these without demur if the bike is more than 10 years old.
