Surely that’s Surtees?
Another really good article from Pete Kelly last month, though I think he’s under-playing the caption to the photo on page 23.
The ‘Norton Dominator 88 rider’, Geoff Duke, is chatting to is none other than John Surtees! In the background, offloading what appears to be a Matchless G45 from the ferry is, I think, AMC works rider Bill Doran!
You wouldn’t get to photograph that much talent in a MotoGP paddock, not without a Press pass! Happy days!
