Regarding D Webster’s letter, the business in Pittenweem was owned and run by Andy Brown, the father, and Brian Brown, the son – or, as they say in Fife, Andy Broons. We would do our runs around the local dealers and drool over machines that we, as then apprentices, could not afford, but we could dream.
