AUTOCYCLE
Brian Reakes is rebuilding a Ducati Cucciolo-powered French Autocycle. In this instance, the Italian four-stroke clip-on engine was built under licence in France by M Rocher, and the ‘little puppy’ has been partnered with a frame built by Eriac (Etudes Réalisations Industrielles, Administratives, Commerciales), a subsidiary of Rocher. Rocher built several models, such as the Standard, Populaire, Luxe and Grand Tourisme, but Brian has been unable to find any information on his model. He says the rear suspension uses rubber rings, but the front is unknown. He has made something that works, using the same technology. Brian is already a member of the National Auto Cycle Club, but has been unable to find out more information. I have also suggested the East Anglian Cyclemotor Club, but if any OBM readers can help, Brian would be pleased to hear from you.
