The real founding father
Just a correction to your recent From The Archive article in OBM that contained words and pictures about the 59 Club, and that used a picture with the caption about Father Bill. Unfortunately, the picture shows Father Graham, not Father Bill. Father Graham ran the club for some years alongside Mike Cook after Bill went to Dover.
As you state, Father Bill was the founder of the 59 and there is a potted history on our website. We are still going strong with two club houses, one in Plaistow, East London, and another in West London in Hounslow. Opening times are as you kindly feature in your Club Call page.
