the streamliner he built with Alex Tremulis and Jim Brufoldt and that was powered by two 650cc Triumph Bonneville engines. On August 26, 1966, Gyronaut, piloted by Bob, ran 245.667 miles per hour on Bonneville Salts, making the Detroit Triumph dealer the fastest man on two wheels in the world.
