A vote for the 1922 Raleigh

In your present issue a chap is suggesting that New Imperial was the first to fit swinging arm rear suspension. However, the 1922 Flat Twin Raleigh had a form of swinging arm suspension with multiple leaf springs at the top and a pivot on the special gearbox. George, North Yorkshire
