Another mystery solved!
Michael Boyd’s charming family photos featured in the Letters pages of the April issue included a picture of a mystery machine. Well, mystery no longer, for it is undoubtedly a 350cc Calthorpe, the model being produced nearly unchanged between 1916 and 1922 with a break between 1917 and 1919 caused by the First World War. The model featured a Peco engine and Enfield twospeed gearbox.
