Laser Tools cordless soldering iron

Soldering irons are a vital part of workshop equipment and now Laser Tools offers a very versatile cordless version which is powered by an 1800mAh Li-ion battery. Once turned on, it reaches working temperature in approximately 15 seconds, with a range of 200°-480°C, and can be used for up to an hour (or around 1100 solder joints) on a single charge. There’s a handy battery charge level indicator to let you know when it’s time to put the soldering iron down on its special stand, plug it in and go for a cup of tea (and it takes just 90 minutes to fully recharge, so perhaps two cups of tea and a biscuit). A neat feature is the built-in LED light which makes it ideal for use in dimly lit areas or simply to make it easier to see exactly what you’re doing. It’s supplied with a safety stand and tip cleaning pad plus two 5g rolls of lead-free solder and the charging cable.
