Sammy Miller Museum hosts Rickman Day

-

June 19, 2022 sees the annual Rickman Enthusiasts Day return to the Sammy Miller Museum in New Milton, Hampshire. The day’s guest of honour will be Don Rickman, but he will also be joined by some notable names, including current owner of Metisse, Gerry Lisi; motocross champions Jeff Smith and Graham Noyce; ISDT Gold Medal winners Ron Langston and Gordon Blakeway; former Norton Villiers Corp director Mike Jackson and stars of 1960s scrambles, brothers Triss and Bryan

Sharp. And, of course, the everenthusiastic and indefatigable Sammy will be on hand to keep everyone in order and the day running smoothly.

More than 150 Rickman Metisses are expected on the day, making this the largest gathering of Rickman motorcycles in the world, along with many people who have been connected with Metisse through the years. To take part in the parade circuit you must pre-register your machine – email rickmanenthusiasts@gmail.com to do so.

There will be trophies, a Rickman parts ‘bring and buy’ stall and a raffle from which all proceeds will go to the Oakhaven Hospice which looked after Derek Rickman so well during his final days last summer. Visit www. sammymiller.co.uk for more details.
