Female Biker Meet World Record Attempt

-

On Sunday, July 24 the Triumph Factory Visitors Experience will welcome some very special visitors. Facebook group, Moto Advisor, is spearheading an attempt to beat the current world record for the most female motorcyclists attending a meet. The attempt has sponsorship from Triumph and from UK online insurance price comparison specialist, The Bike Insurer, and hopes to beat the current record of 1132 lady riders who got together in Shropshire in 2017. (Incidentally, that record was also organised by Nimi Patel and Sherrie Woolf, the women behind Moto Advisor so they know what they’re doing!)

It would be smashing to see some ladies on classic machinery at the record attempt – it is shaping up to be a grand day out at Triumph, complete with live music, food and drink and a raffle with some fabulous prizes. All proceeds will go to charity, including the Air Ambulance and the Blood Bikers. Now, if you’re wondering how anyone is going to count all the participants, no, there isn’t one lucky man trotting around tallying up heads! Instead, people have to arrive, ride past a camera and then be given a number sticker. Now, because it’s being held at Triumph, participants will have to register first for insurance purposes, so find ‘Moto Advisor’ on Facebook and there will be a link to do just that. Come on lady OBM readers, do the classic motorcycle world proud!
