The joy of selfappointed experts
Reference April’s Oriental Angles, a spot-on article if ever there was one. Excellent.
My TZR250 is currently for sale. Some rivet-counting moron posted on social media that the tank decals are wrong. IF he is right, so what? The bike is a good one and has been like that for at least 29 years. The advert is comprehensive and wholly truthful and actually disclaims perfection.
BUT he infers from this allegation the rest of the bike could be a duffer. Any sale has been scuppered before it’s been listed. How can we combat opinionated ***holes like this? Has he done, as I have, 106,000 miles on a single bike? No doubt this didn’t count as the bike was not correct. None of my bikes are correct. I will have to have them all taken away and be shot at a concours event. The moron will still owe me for the sale of a TZR. Oh, and I am an engineer too!
Should I apologise?
