Wraparound braided harness sleeving from Connect Workshop Consumables is a lightweight and easy-toinstall solution for protecting and tidying electrical wiring harnesses. This self-closing braided sleeving is flame retardant, has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +150°C, is resistant to most chemicals and solvents, and has excellent noise vibration reduction properties – we’re thinking of making some trousers or underpants out of it, they’d be indestructible!

It’s ideal for a variety of uses – repairing an existing wiring harness or loom, securing additional wiring for new components or even for non-automotive use – and, even better, its plain finish makes it suitable for use on classic machines without standing out like a sore thumb.

Available in six tube diameter sizes: 5mm (part # 39878), 8mm (39879), 10mm (39885), 13mm (39904), 16mm (39906) and 25mm (39998), all supplied in five-metre lengths. Choose a suitable size, simply cut to the required length with scissors, then wrap around the wiring. The braid then closes up around the wires. What could be simpler?
