Two days for Museum LIVE
Last year for the first time, the National Motorcycle Museum held its popular museum LIVE event over two days for the first time – and it proved to be so successful that the show will continue as a two-day event once more over the final weekend of October 2022.
For these two days, entry into the museum will be absolutely free (there is a £15 charge for car parking but it will cost you nothing to park your motorcycle), and that includes all the extra attractions of Museum LIVE, such as the chance to meet some of the museum’s specialist suppliers and restoration team who are responsible for many of the pristine machines on display. There will also be live wheel building demonstrations from Central Wheel Components, special guests such as Steve Parrish, Peter Hickman and Steve Plater, and the ever-welcome Henry Cole and Friends spot which sees the TV personality in conversation with the likes of extreme engineer Allen Millyard who, incidentally, will be firing up his huge Millyard Viper V10 with its eight-litre Dodge Viper engine over the weekend. Take your earplugs.
There will be stands from noted names in the classic motorcycle industry and a chance to browse through the museum’s own gift shop. But the stars of the show will always be the amazing exhibits throughout the complex, making this a museum of which we should all be truly proud.
