Triumphant matters

In reply to Scott Moore’s letter featuring the Triumph 2500PI (OBM446), I know this is not bikerelated, but I write in response to his query about the B pillar side repeater lamp on his 2.5 PI.

Slipping comfortably into my anorak, I can confirm that all Mark 1 and Mark 2 models had the dinky little side repeater lamps, I think held by a single tiny PK screw from the underside.

His car also appeared to be in Carriage Brown which I also had on my 1975 2500S, not quite as attractive as the later Russet Brown.
