Sugar and Spicer and all things nicer

-

On October 29, Spicers Auctioneers in Goole will hold its last sale of 2022 – and it’s shaping up to the biggest and best automobilia sale of the year for the East Yorkshire auction house. As we went to press, more than 50 bikes had already been consigned; Spicers has had to increase it security storage yard and even embark on building a larger secure facility.

The range on offer will start with projects. Winter is coming and if you’ve ever hankered after restored a 1955 BSA Winged Wheel or a 1931 BSA L31, then get your bid in now! If you prefer the work to have already been done and all you need to do is pop some sandwiches in your pocket and set off, then take a look at the restored 1939 Velocette KSS or the rather lovely 1928 Peugeot P105 315cc. For those after a smaller machine, there’s a 1959 Adler scooter (two local owners) and two similar but different commuter machines from the 1960s, an Ariel Leader and a rarer Velocette Vogue, one of only 380 built.

Other lots so far entered into the auction range from a 1980 Laverda Montjuic/Formula 500 to a rare Harley-Davidson XLCR1000 to a 1956/2008 Norvin. For more details and to keep an eye on new lots coming in, visit www.spicersauctioneers.com
