Bri­tish goat meat has been a trend for a cou­ple of years but it’s fi­nally be­com­ing more widely avail­able and less niche, ac­cord­ing to James Whet­lor, the for­mer chef who now runs Cabrito Goat Meat in Devon and sup­plies a num­ber of top restau­rants across the UK. Goat meat is now ap­pear­ing on more menus and it’s be­com­ing eas­ier for home cooks to source. James says: “Goat is un­ques­tion­ably be­com­ing more main­stream as more butch­ers are stock­ing it, and I’m get­ting more mail orders.
