Formia broad­ens its reach

FORMIA has un­veiled a se­ries of new projects, turn­ing its fo­cus on kids kits and ex­tend­ing is part­ner­ships with Xi­a­men Air­lines, Aus­trian Air­lines and Qatar Air­ways.

In a push to broaden its of­fer, FORMIA has formed part­ner­ships with key 'char­ac­ter' brands, Smi­ley and Ru­bik's, and will pair the iconic sym­bol of 1980s pop cul­ture and the best sell­ing Ru­bik's cube toy with chil­dren's kits de­signed to be unique and en­ter­tain­ing.

FORMIA ceo, Roland Grohmann, said: “This is a hugely ex­cit­ing and sig­nif­i­cant en­deav­our for FORMIA. We aim to be­come the recog­nised leader in the younger pas­sen­ger mar­ket by pro­vid­ing chil­dren with a unique brand and prod­uct ex­pe­ri­ence."

The com­pany has also worked with Qatar Air­ways to sup­port Breast Cancer Aware­ness Month with a lim­ited edi­tion pink ver­sion of its Bric's amenity kits for First and Busi­ness pas­sen­gers.

Other devel­op­ments in­clude projects to of­fer Acca Kappa White Moss amenity kits in First and Busi­ness on Xi­a­men Air­lines; and an Aus­trian Air­lines ini­tia­tive to in­tro­duce an overnight amenity kit for pas­sen­gers ex­pe­ri­enc­ing de­lays or can­cel­la­tions.
