Gate­group new deal with Vir­gin Aus­tralia

Gate­group has se­cured a six-year con­tract with Vir­gin Aus­tralia for Gate Gourmet to act as its sole ser­vice provider.

From June 2018, Gate Gourmet will pro­vide in­flight din­ing and han­dling across 400 do­mes­tic and around 50 in­ter­na­tional flights per day to des­ti­na­tions through­out Asia, Aus­tralia and North Amer­ica.

Gate­group will con­tinue to work closely with Vir­gin Aus­tralia's head chef Luke Man­gan to de­liver the air­line's Busi­ness meals across its flights. The part­ner­ship will en­sure greater ef­fi­ciency and con­trol of on­board food and bev­er­age of­fer­ings.
