LSG re­ports growth

The LSG Group has re­ported rev­enue growth, ex­tended con­tracts and the open­ing of a new cus­tomer ser­vice base in China.

LSG Sky Chefs is the only caterer at Wen­zhou Long­wan International Air­port (south of Shang­hai) where pas­sen­ger num­bers are in­creas­ing 10% a year.

In the first half of the year, LSG Sky Chefs also ex­tended con­tracts with United, Amer­i­can, LATAM and Cathay Dragon. And Re­tail in­Mo­tion won the on­board re­tail con­tract for Eti­had. The JV in Luanda, An­gola, was ex­tended and the Brus­sels fa­cil­ity re­ceived the QSAI Ex­cel­lence Award for the best fa­cil­ity in Europe.

The com­pany gen­er­ated rev­enues of EUR 1.6 bil­lion (for the first six months), a fall of 2.8% year-on-year due to cur­rency fluc­tu­a­tions and vol­un­tary with­drawal from some con­tracts. Ad­justed for this, rev­enues grew 4.4%.
