Saudia trials new uniforms

Saudia is trialling new uniforms designed by Yates+ on its Jeddah-paris route.

Senior design partner, June Kulwadee Pruksananonda, says the new look “is one important element among many in Saudia’s metamorphosis into a world-leading hospitality provider”. The uniforms aim to combine elements of Saudi culture, elegance and design, with 21st century practicality. The male uniform incorporates Islamic geometric designs in the necktie’s micro-pattern, combined with a tie clip featuring Saudia’s Arabic curves; while the women's wear designs are inspired by Saudi Arabia’s architecture and landscapes.the colour palette reflects the home destination's red sea coral, the tan of the dunes, and the dark navy of the midnight desert.
