A blooming beautiful show awaits
AT the weekend Southport will burst into bloom as the Southport Flower Show takes place and we are delighted that local landscape gardeners Muddy Boots have once again decided to create a beautiful show garden in support of Queenscourt Hospice.
The garden has been designed by Clare Edwards from Clare’s Gardens and Claire Skidmore from Muddy Boots and they, along with the team from Muddy Boots, have put in many hours of hard work to create the final show piece.
This year’s beautiful garden is called ‘Été en Provence’ and is designed to complement a holiday home in Provence, creating the perfect place for rest and relaxation.
Easy-care, drought-tolerant planting is combined with limestone paving and walling to create that Provençale feel.
White render, stylish furniture and a luxurious dipping pool add freshness, space and light. It’s the place to be on hot, summer days!
Alongside the garden, there will be experts on hand to answer any queries relating to the garden and also representatives from Queenscourt Hospice who will be selling merchandise, providing the opportunity for you to join our lottery and general information about the hospice.
If you are planning a visit to the show then make sure you come and see this beautiful garden, the first ever dipping pool to be on display at Southport Flower Show.
Pictured here are some of the team from Muddy Boots alongside the garden as it takes shape. This picture was taken about two weeks into the build and there is still plenty of work to be done to create the fabulous garden that you will eventually see during the event.
We would like to thank Muddy Boots for providing this opportunity to Queenscourt and wish everyone concerned with the project good luck - fingers crossed it’s another winning display.
