The Rainbow Ramble featured three routes – five, 11 and 18 miles and Tesco colleagues were at the finish line to greet ramblers with their goodies.

Mark Rogers, store manager at Burscough Bridge, said: “Whilst we are dedicated and focused on serving our customers and enhancing their shopping experience, we are also keen to engage with and support our local community.

“Rainbow House is such a big part of our community and provides vital services to a large number of people.

“The Rainbow Ramble was a huge success and the store team are delighted to have been a part of it.”

Sonia Harris, parent support worker and community fundraiser at Rainbow House, said: “Our annual Rainbow Ramble is one of the highlights of the year and helps us raise significant funds from entrants and sponsorship which is still coming in.

“We’d like to thank everyone who came along on the day to take part or to cheer on loved ones.

“Everyone loved the energy packs provided by the Tesco Burscough Bridge store, we really appreciate their support.”
