Wrappers set to score a hit this Christmas!
WE ARE delighted to have partnered up with Wayfarers Shopping Arcade, in Southport, to offer a Christmas Gift Wrapping Service.
No need to buy any bulky rolls of wrapping paper or struggle with the Sellotape this year.
This is a simple charitable way to get your presents all wrapped up for Christmas and make a difference to your local hospice. We have a lovely team of Queenscourt volunteers who are eager to help.
So, whether you have just the one present or bags full, simply bring them to us and you can relax, while we carefully wrap them for you.
They’ll soon be ready to take away and pop straight under the tree when you get home. Our suggested donation is just £1 per present.
Every single pound raised will help Queenscourt Hospice give the invaluable gift of care and support to families throughout Southport, Formby and West Lancashire.
Community fundraiser, Lucy Smith, explained: “We’re really excited to be offering a gift wrapping service.
“Christmas is a busy time and we know it’s a chore for a lot of people, so hopefully this will be a handy solution with the wonderful bonus of supporting your local hospice! Queenscourt is a very special place within our community, helping people every single day to ensure they can enjoy precious time with their loved ones and live the best possible quality of life.
“This is only possible thanks to the wonderful support we receive.”
Our gift wrapping service will be available between 12 and 4pm on the following dates in December: Saturday 16, Sunday 17 and Saturday 23.
We will be based inside our own little shop next to Pudding & Pie cafe, within the beautiful town centre arcade.
Wayfarers itself is stunningly Christmassy with masses of decorations and a magnificent tree, plus, of course, Santa’s Grotto – a perfect place to spend a little time while our elves wrap your presents.
Saturday, December 16, is a particularly good day to visit as there will be an extra special treat in the arcade – music from Queenscourt’s choir, The Nightingales.
Come along between 1 and 2pm to enjoy their beautiful performance of festive favourites! So, pop along and see us for a welcome break from all the hustle and bustle, support Queenscourt Hospice and get Christmas all wrapped up!
